E-paramotor world altitude record

A mission to set the world altitude record for a tandem electric paramotor.

On the 30th October 2024 the Turner Twins successfully set the world altitude record for an electric tandem paramotor over the French Alps. Developing the light aircraft with Parajet International, the pioneering paramotor had 5.8 kWh batteries with a flight time of 35 minutes. They achieved an altitude of 2,613m (8,572ft) over the town of Val d'Isere. The record has been ratified by the FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale - World Air Sports Federation) and has been officially awarded as a new world record.
